uTorrent will now be a part of your browser in coming updates.

uTorrent is quite possibly the most used BitTorrent-client in the world and the best. But it's about to get even better.

Newer versions of uTorren will now run directly in your browser (kind of like Chrome Extensions). It was reported by TorrentFreak in an interview with Bram Cohen (creator of BitTorrent). The company hit a lot of bumpy roads when they hired outsiders (his cousins Bob Delamar and Jeremy Johnson) to run it nearly driving them to bankruptcy but are recovering.

This new update is based off an abandoned project called Maelstrom which was going to be a browser entirely dedicated to torrenting.
What came of Maelstrom is that Jeremy just decided not to ship Maelstrom because he thought he had some genius idea that would be so much better. And he is so utterly incompetent at doing product he couldn’t even put together an actual product out of it and just killed the whole project.
It'll borrow Maelstrom's enhanced streaming capabilities - something uTorrent currently struggles with.
The features behind it that people really want, being able to see torrents in the browser, we’re basically going to be shipping with the new uTorrent. It’s going to be your browser instead of a separate browser
It will take a while before uTorrent starts forcing users to update and Bram Cohen is aware of that.
We’re very, very sensitive. We know people have been using uTorrent for a very long time and love it. So we’re very, very sensitive to that and gonna be sure to make sure that people feel that it’s an upgrade that’s happening. Not that we’ve just destroyed the experience.
This new uTorrent will finally end the hassles of having to wait until downloads are done to watch videos because now they can just be streamed just like almost everything n the internet is now Imagine having to wait for videos to be downloaded on YouTube or Netflix before watching them; You wouldn't like that, would you?
