The Return Of The Unbreakable. The Nokia 3310 is coming back.

The legendary Nokia 3310, first released in 2000, has been known for it is long lasting battery, epic Snake game and most of all its durability.
This phone has been known to survive basically anything and I mean anything; from a fall down a flight of stairs to a drop from the top of a two-storey building. I guess we could say it is the 'spartan' of phones.

And now we will see a return of this iconic phone after over 16 years. According to popular phone leaker Evan 'EvLeaks' Blass of ventureBeat, HMD Global – the Finnish company that now owns the Nokia name plans to unveil the improved cellphone at Mobile World Congress [MWC], one of the world's biggest mobile trade show, which takes place in Barcelona, Spain at the end of February. Other phones expected to be released then are the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6.

The new Nokia 3310 is expected to marketed at a reasonable price of €59 (₦19580, $62) which when compared to it's original price of €129 (₦42800, $136) is much cheaper.

However, due to competition from modern smartphones I don't think the relaunch will be able to beat the original which sold about 126 million units worldwide. But I still look forward to the relaunch of this legend and I can't wait to play Snake again.

Nothing beats the classic!
