Mozilla has got a brand new logo and it's ://

Mozilla has finally chosen the winner to the logo making contest it announced some time back and it's somewhat ://.
Say hello to moz://a.

There were a lot of wacky outcomes like these, but Mozilla chose the one that can be seen in the bottom left of the image below.

Mozilla's new logo speaks internet (literally). The "ill" has been replaced with "://" which is in literally every web address. The company also breaks down the "m" to a lowercase which it used it'll use to implement in favicons.

The logo was developed from Protocol, one of the first entrants that Mozilla chose for the new logo. But in the second turn, the logo was made to clearly point out the protocol delimiter.

The font used in the new logo is called Zilla and was made by Typotheque, a Netherlands based type-foundry. Mozilla says the font is going to be open-sourced.

As you can expect, a lot of people don't like the new logo as the YouTube video's comments section is sarcastically filled with "://" emoticon remarks.

Well I for one like the new logo and nothing's going to change that.
